Buzzsaw Brings New Creativity to Commercial Realm
Setting up shop in the commercial world is a new company called Buzzsaw. The production company has established itself in Santa Monica, California with Executive Producer Scott Flor, formerly of Headquarters Films, at the helm.
Buzzsaw has assembled a roster of six directors/directing teams thus far: Terry Rietta, Robert Caruso, Jamie Sterba, Bruce MacWilliams, Conscious Minds and GoodDearGood.
The directing team of GoodDearGood has embarked upon a month long documentary film mission, traveling across the US and Canada, shooting spots, virals and docs for Moosehead Beer out of an RV. Also making a mark is Caruso, who just finished a viral campaign for the website Thumbs Up. Rietta has been churning out work for clients such as Brighthouse Networks, Ancestry.com, as well as Verizon. The Levi's viral "Walk Across America" put Conscious Minds on the map, but they are determined to stay there with completed projects for both Nike and Easton Sports.
