2012 APA Show Issues Call For Entries
The APA Show, now in its 11th year, has issued its 2012 Call for Entries. The Show, sponsored by the Advertising Producers Association, is one of the most anticipated events in the UK advertising calendar, and has attracted upwards of 800 guests for its gala ceremony recognizing the best advertising production from London's production and creative communities.
The 2012 APA Show will take place this year on Thursday 6th September 2012. The deadline for submitting entries is Friday, 15 June, 2012. (To check out our report on last year's APA Show, click here.)
Entries can be submitted online at the APA web site at www.apashow.co.uk. To be eligible, commercials, (which now include audio visual advertising material of 120 seconds or less) must have been made by UK agencies or UK production companies and first aired or displayed in any media between 1st June 2011 and 31st May 2012. Commercials that have been made or aired overseas are also eligible, provided that they have been produced by a UK company.

The APA Show features the premiere of the APA Collection. This is the APA's compendium of the best commercials of the year, selected by top creatives, producers and directors. Every year the show is previewed globally in locations such as Russia, China, Japan, India and Sweden and continues to reach out to other countries, promoting the commercial expertise from London.
The winning collection is distributed on DVD accompanying and circulated in Shots magazine.
