Client Perspectives Shared at Heads of Production Meeting
Target's John Lick and Verizon's Valerie Light sat in on a SourceEcreative-sponsored Heads of Production Meeting held on Tuesday, October 25 at the Hudson Street offices of Euro RSCG in New York. Hosts for the meeting were Joe Guyt, Director of Integrated Production, and Cathy Pitegoff, Director of Broadcast Business Affairs at the agency. Lick is Executive Producer, Broadcast Production at Target in Minneapolis and Light is Broadcast Production Manager at Verizon. Both are Co-Chairpersons of the Association of National Advertisers Production Management Committee. Also attending was Kathy Lally, Senior Producer of Integrated Content for Target.
The conversation was an opportunity for members of the client-side production community to share points of view on key topics and issues facing both advertisers and agencies. As Lick pointed out, the role of the ANA Production Management Committee, which meets quarterly, is to review common issues that impact the production of advertising content. These range from things like trends in global production to new production and post-production techniques to digital asset management and talent costs, he noted. Photos of the event appear below.
